Manaw Yadanar Myanmar to incubate Glocal (Global Yet Local) Digital Talents with eduCLaaS

Manaw Yadanar High School Myanmar signed a Memorandum of Agreement with eduCLaaS Pte Ltd, the international subsidiary of Lithan Academy from Singapore, to be an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) for distribution of its CLaaS® Products across Myanmar.

CLaaS® delivers Competency Learning as a Service to support digital upskilling for higher education students, working adults, and enterprises in the digital economy. It adopts work-based learning pedagogy with a competency-based curriculum for blended learning journeys that deliver tangible career and business outcomes.

Under the partnership, eduCLaaS at Manaw Yadanar‘s campus will deliver applied degree courses with an international work-study journey where the learners gain up to three years of work experience before graduating.

Moe Si Thu, Managing Director, Manaw Yadanar shared his excitement about the partnership and what it means for the institution and its students. In his words, “I would like to thank Lithan eduCLaaS International for giving us this great opportunity. We are thrilled to collaborate with Lithan eduCLaaS as one of the Authorized Training Partners. We know digital skills are crucial today and after the pandemic they will be needed for many more sectors. Moreover, the solutions eduCLaaS is bringing to the country align with our school’s mission which is “to produce skillful citizens who will contribute to Myanmar’s digital-based economy transformation”. This is also one of the reasons why we decided to establish this strategic partnership with eduCLaaS.”

“We can see how beneficial eduCLaaS’ Work-Study Program will be for our students as eduCLaaS will not only disseminate digital knowledge among Myanmar youths but will also place them with global digital workplaces. In addition, because Lithan eduCLaaS International has over 20 years of experience in nurturing and placing learners with international hiring partners, we believe it can help our students to overcome the barriers on their educational journey. We look forward to collaborating with eduCLaaS for many years through discussion, negotiation, and mutual benefits.”

eduCLaaS’s Founder and CEO, Leslie Loh had this to say about the partnership, “Modern employers require plug-and-play graduates who can be productive from the first day of the job. Our 1+3 work-study degrees deliver seamless job induction before graduation: with 1 year of intensive skills acquisition bootcamp and 3 years of on-the-job training at the workplace. Our learners are Glocal (Global yet Local) digital talents as they engage in borderless learning and working, alongside international learners and employers, supported by over 100 regional campuses from across Asia.”

He further added, “We welcome Manaw Yadanar in joining our Pan-Asia eduCLaaS platform to incubate Glocal (Global yet Local) digital talents ready for growth in the post-Covid digital economy.”
