eduCLaaS Launched Public-Private Partnership with NSDCI For Inclusive Digital Skilling in India

 

 

 

On 8th December 2022, The National Skill Development Corporation of India, International (NSDCI) and eduCLaaS signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to show commitment towards delivering inclusive digital skilling among youth in India for a more sustainable future. The signing was taken place within the NSDCI headquarters held at New Delhi, India. 

 

The partnership allows eduCLaaS to provide post-graduate programmes to incubate future-ready digital talents with work-integrated CLaaS® aligned with NSDCI’s purpose to promote and empower technology-based skill learning and training among the learners.

 

CLaaS® delivers Competency Learning as a Service to bridge the digital skills gap with competency-based curriculum, work-based learning pedagogy, and blended work2learn journey. CLaaS® courses have received accreditations from education regulatory bodies and over 100 international universities. In collaboration with NSDCI, eduCLaaS will equip learners with advanced tools and best practices relevant in the digital economy with a focus to prepare youth for the future of work. 

 

Sharing about this MoU signing, Mr Ved Mani Tewari, MD of NDSCI, said “It is a path-breaking opportunity and arrangement with eduCLaaS to bring affordable, quality international degree to the youth in the country.” 

 

Acknowledged the importance of digital transformation and excited about the partnership with NSDCI, eduCLaaS’ CEO, Mr Leslie Loh said “The public-private partnership aims to incubate future-ready digital talents with our work-integrated CLaaS® for seamless induction into in-demand digital jobs”

About The National Skill Development Corporation of India (NSDC)

 

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a not-for-profit public limited company incorporated on July 31, 2008, under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 (corresponding to section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013). NSDC was set up by Ministry of Finance as Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The Government of India through Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) holds 49% of the share capital of NSDC, while the private sector has the balance 51% of the share capital.

 

NSDC aims to promote skill development by catalyzing creation of large, quality and for-profit vocational institutions.
